They still couldn't beat our 17 man squad

28 , even 26 is way too many. You end up with players not even making the bench and festering and causing unrest sat in the stands.

IMHO 22 would be ideal but we are what we are , fine lines , never too high never too low etc etc

25 is the magic number for me. Enough to enable competition and cover for injuries. 22 full time pros and three first year pros.
