Exactly. Too soon to get over excited about any deal. Too many examples of business deals not being completed after initial optimism.

What it may mean is that ALL employees throughout the club will be judged on performance and survive or whatever on their ability or otherwise to achieve targets in performance and delivery....just as it is in almost any business and rightly so.

Like CC I am still staying relatively calm. Delighted about the take-over but not jumping to conclusions about what will happen, money etc.

No idea how these deals go so this could be bull but I think it speaks volumes about the lack of a statement so far. To me it shows that the club and new owners are doing things properly, making sure everything is in place and they have passed the Fit and Proper tests before announcing more details.

Agree that a fans forum is needed if/when the tests are completed.

Can't make much sense of why a Brazilian ex football agent based in Qatar or a Qatari business consortium would want to buy a league 2 side with a very low support base. I'm thinking there must be other motives other than wanting to get the club into league 1 ?
