Dom & Aspers had a competition to see who could scream the loudest when one of them wasn't given.
Crystal glasses shattered.
Quinny looked across but decided not to join in because he knew he couldn't compete.
Dogs in the whole of Morecambe are howling still.

They agreed, it should have been a penalty. At least, I think that's what they said!

Jim saying we didn't close down for the first and we blocked a shot which was going wide for the second. He also says we looked nervous and only Rose was prepared to put his foot on the ball and play passes.

Too many of the younger players who have played so well recently had an off day.
Wakefield and Co at the back looked nervous, Flemo was leggy, Cole, Tom and Jack all had poor games by their own standards.
Only Rosey' and Kev seemed up for it.
The young players perhaps couldn't cope with the pressure of being top? But they will learn from that.

In this league,if that many played underperform, you will lose.

On another note, there is something about international breaks, Radio Lancs and Sky show up and we play wank, please get lost and leave us to play our own game with just Quinny watching!! :D

Still second and we have no pressure now!!! :D

Any sign of Diego??

I thought it looked like men against boys for a lot of it, lots of tall, big, athletic players with lots of experience in their lineup and they just did their job without being anything special.

As Freez says, a learning experience for our young lads and nothing to get too down about. I do hope we don't play McGowan at left back ever again though, absolutely baffled me why Jim picked him when he's just signed an experienced out and out left back and left him on the bench.

AJ had a 'mare at left back , why sign a proper left back and leave him on the bench.

Who got man of the match for us ? I would hope it was Kevin or Michael Rose.

The Orient were the worst of 3 league 2 sides to have been to the Globe. If we had played like we did against Pompey it would have been a regulation win.

The referee was awful. They were pulling Stockdale's shirt every time the ball came to him without any freekicks and yet as soon as he did something back he was giving Orient the decision.

It was Kev, although I would've given it to Rose.

Sadly today was a case of us coming up against a physical side who were happy to stay compact and let us come at them. Inevitably they hit us with 2 sloppy goals and we didn't have the cutting edge to break them down.

Rose was my man of the match. Kev, his wonderful goal aside, was pretty average I thought. And I thought AJ and Stockton did OK contrary to what others have said.

Overall we should have had a point from the game but we looked a bit lethargic and clueless compared to previous performances. As others have said, we will learn from this.

I thought first half we were ok and it was fairly even we were unlucky to go in behind. We then got ourselves back in it but threw it away and then it all went wrong from there they then dominated and if it wasn't for Baz they could have had three or four.

One positive I think our style of play is a lot better than last year at we do try and play the ball on the ground and move it forward and don't hoof as much.
