Hospitality Offer

Hospitality Offer

Postby Gone_Shrimping » Tue Sep 06, 2016 11:05 am

It may be just coincidence with a new owner imminent but of late the Hospitality Department/Commercial Department seem to have been coming up with some very creative deals to entice people.

Selling hospitality for Stoke under 21's would have made selling a refrigerator to an eskimo a simple task but the latest offer gives them a chance of doing some business :-

Looks like an excellent deal!

So how did that work out then?

Good offer, if you have a season ticket further discounts apply!

Must be said though, why on earth were the club 'giving away' hospitality as part of ground sponsorship deals for the Blackpool game when they could have sold out that game for full price, yet now they are doing deals to push games they are struggling with? Seems odd and poorly thought out.

I am pleased they have done a deal that incorporates the EFL Trophy, the attendances could be embarassing for a lot of Clubs.
Blackpool was a trinket that was used to woo the black tie brigade

It was a bit bizarre at the Gala draw that the prizes being dished out for fun were hospitality/boxes for the Blackpool and Portsmouth games which I would have thought were the easiest to sell all season.

What, to pay for CC to have box to himself where he can't annoy anyone? ;)

Is this the game Drummond scored a free kick at the Umbro Stand end?

This was nearly 14 years ago, Drummy scored from long range but not a free kick

Never trust the BBC!

From the official Doncaster website (November 9th 2002):

Rovers went down to their heaviest defeat of the season this afternoon at Christie Park after conceding three goals - the first from a free kick by Drummond
