Donny Predictions

Postby Phil Anderer » Thu Sep 08, 2016 12:46 pm

It's Thursday afternoon and no thread yet! Everyone too scared to put their neck on the line after the turnaround last weekend? OK, I'll dive in feet first. (Yes, I know, that's a jump, not a dive.)

Morecambe 2 - 1 Donny

A full week off and the lads just about get their mojo back, albeit with 'squeaky bum' time for the last 10 minutes as we hang on.

2. Scream it loudly;

Is it Thursday already?! :o ;)

2-2 draw for me too.

Rovers will be wearing a special 3rd kit on Saturday in support of the British Heart Foundation which will be auctioned off afterwards. Good on them!

They say both their home and away kits clash with our red and black kit.

Good afternoon, a Donny fan in peace.
Staying up here for a few days. As you will have seen there's some healthy media interest in our game.
Looking forward to a good match as it's been some time since we visited your old ground .... And lost.
Your new ground looks very nice and hopefully a good following to visit The Globe ( 600/700), at an educated guess.
We're a team that you will hopefully find easy on the eye, and love to get it down and pass, with very little long ball at all.
Your lad on loan from Livepool has made an impression and we loved your victory at Rotherham.
Here's to a good contest and for our fans to applaud our captain Jamie Coppingers 500 th appearance for Donny. A player who is always the last off the pitch, whatever the result and appreciates the fans on and off the pitch, without the need of a camera to be around for a bit of PR.
At Donny we do appreciate landmarks from clubs and players who visit/play against us ( provided it ain't Leeds or Barnsley) of course. If your fans would acknowledge Copps achievement, then that would be greatly welcomed. Once the game starts, he's just then one of 22 on the pitch.
Thank you in advance, and best wishes for the rest of this season.

Welcome along, hope you have a lovely time in Morecambe (except Saturday afternoon, obviously!) If you want some thoughts on where to go etc, just ask.

That said... you do know this is a prediction thread? You appear to have missed out on the important bit of making a prediction! Come on, what score?

Last time Darren Ferguson faced a Morecambe side the score was 3-2 !!!

He was in charge of Peterborough then in our first season of league football!!

500 appearances for one club is truly outstanding in this day and age of modern crap football.

He deserves all the applause and plaudits.

1.0 loss

However, I am putting a few quid on us at nearly 4/1 to win the game, sounds good value to me

Posh were 2 -0 up and then we had Dave Artell sent off.

We scored 3 with Carl Baker outstanding , scoring 2 goals.
