So what's the new guy like?

So what's the new guy like?

Looks like some people spoke to the new owner today. Did he say much or at least seem a decent chap who understood football? I see the visitor said they got a few words with him but have to wait for next week's paper.

I wondered if he would make an official statement soon like he is excited about the future, engaging with the fans etc etc

I think they are hoping to have a Fans Forum with Diego in attendance in the near future.

Apparently he's in a situation similar to Eddie Murphy's character in ''Brewsters millions'', he has to get rid of a lot of wealth in a short time, his first appointments will be as follows.... A.paying off the present management and making Outsider the new team boss, B.Hiring Christies Child as technical director, and C.Extending the contract of the Commercial manager.

Radio accy had a few words with him yesterday, he said he liked the atmosphere at The Globe, and loved the city of morecambe. They asked about money he replied "we are here for hard work" He also said JB is a great manager with a fantastic future! I think he will be on the pitch to wave at us before the next home match :D

Met the new owner in the bar before the game. He seems a very pleasant person. In a very short conversation he said we need to look again at revenue streams and what can be done differently. He also seems like he is going to be a hands on chairman intending to be around a lot of the time. I sensed he is not going to throw big money at the club but as has been said before build the club little by little. I liked his attitude of chatting to fans.

loved the city of morecambe - has he committed to building us a cathedral too?
JB is a great manager with a fantastic future - a chairman backing a manager is a worrying sign?

Interesting times ahead I reckon. Lets see how he gets on with his first official announcements and engagements but more importantly business decisions that get things moving in the right direction.

Anyone know anything about the Vice-Chairman and other staff he is bringing in?

Just seen Diago and 'Dev' wondering around Lancaster. Despite the weather Diago had short sleeves on. Quite impressive for a guy bought up in Rio.
