Buggery bollocks. 0-1. Baz punch went straight to their lad who finished well.

Sounds like a good, even game so far. Ah well, long time to go yet.

Poor defending undoes us yet again, having played well.

Player commentary suggests that's game over "no way back from this now". :( :( :(

Conceded the most goals in the division now. Back into the rythem we finished last season in. Relegation battle is on the cards I think the lack of experience in the squad is starting to show

Ellison and Mullin are not 90 minute players, late subs at best.

I'm not sure what Massanka has to do to get a decent run out,the guy needs to start.

And Rhys Turner is even further down he pecking order.

Mullin had a shocker and Murphy was tiring fast in the 2nd half.

missed Rose and Winnard today. Thanks Charlie

Really disappointing game, performance and result. Carlisle were solid but again they didn't have to work particularly hard to beat us.

We are too bloody easy to score against. It doesn't matter who is put out there. The first goal was pathetic and it killed what was looking like a decent atmosphere. Shocking from Barry to just palm it straight to their guy.

The positioning of our defence at times was schoolboy, people all going straight for the ball. Why is this not being addressed - its nothing new, we had a season of it last year! We are back to having the worst defence in the league again - and if it stays that way, we are going to plummet down the league.

Back to the 1200 crowds next week.

Disagree. The poorest players on the pitch were Murphy and Mullin who have experience and were shocking all game.

It didn't help Rose was suspended for picking up a yellow card in the Notts County game, which counts for nothing else.

The biggest problem for me is the system. 4-2-3-1 just doesn't work with the players available. Should have just played 4-4-2. Instead Murphy and Fleming sit too deep and invite pressure on and there's a big hole in front of them because Mullin was awful. Just didn't look organised.

The scoreline flattered Carlisle and I felt a bit sorry for the lads. We did create enough chances but we weren't clinical enough and Carlisle were - typical story.

We are still struggling with poor defending and I don't know what the answer is.

Stockton was rightly man of the match, and tried hard all game (we'll forget about that shot that went out for a throw in).

A game to forget and move on from.

Another poor, half-hearted effort at home. As Posh has already mentioned the system didn't work. No matter what team we play regardless of their position in the league or their style of play we always set out the same.

At 1-0 down in the second half Carlisle dropped off. At that point we should have taken Ellison off and brought on Massanka to try something different and go for it but nothing changed. 2-0, then 3-0 and still nothing. Not until the 84th minute did Jimbo give the lad a go, too little too late.

Fleming played well today and he was my man of the match. He must have covered twice as much ground and played 10 times more passes than his midfield partner Murphy did.

Thought for the most part we were reasonably good today. We had the better chances in the first half but a dreadful error from Barry gave them the initiative. He's a real liability when the ball is in the air.

Some of the criticism of Murphy a bit unfair. Quite clearly not fit yet but we had no choice but to play him. The only way he'll get fit is by playing games though and when he does we all know we've got a good player.

Re the formation it looked from my high vantage point very much 4-4-2 until Moly came on. Then we went 4-1-4-1
