All that says is that they have a very long list of applicants and others who havnt applied, but are under contract elsewhere, from all over the UK and abroad.
Sounds like it will take them a while "to find the person that fits and buys into their model"
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

And it also shows that Morecambe wouldn't have a problem finding a decent manager despite what some on here believe.

Exactly what I thought, over 100 applications for a League one club puts the "who would we get?" brigade back in their place. There will be plenty of applicants if/when Jim leaves.

There would be no problems finding a manager.

Only time would tell if he was decent.

Any Manager would be "decent" here due to the low expectations. Losing 0-3 at home was not a "disaster" and the small club tag will always be a get out of jail card for any Manager here. Lets hope Diego and Abdul manage to raise the expectations and drag us all along with them rather being forced to accept getting beat at home all the time by the majority on here.

I think the problem before the takeover was possibly who we could get for the likely money. Now we should have no problem assuming the salary is raised and any new manager would have a bit more money to spend......which must be the case if Diego and Abdul really want us in a higher league.

Personally I'd rather Jim stay and see what he could do with a bit of money to spend.

I sort of agree. I think people turn up at the Globe with very little belief that they are going to see a win.
Fans just going through the motions.
Jurgen Klopp said to the Liverpool fans that they had to turn from doubters to believers
I know it's a totally different ball game at Morecambe but we as a club need to change our attitude

Jim deserves the chance to shop in Sainsburys or Morrisons rather than Aldi or Lidl.

I don't believe just anyone could do any better with our budget as it is, or should I say was, at the start of the summer. However, we may not have to worry about that so much now.
I think there could be a culture change coming for various off and on field reasons. We had a good go on Saturday and came up short, I can kind of cope with that.
But the bit about turning up more in hope then expectation is real enough for all of us, but again that could be about to change.
Interesting times.
