Notts County 1 Morecambe 2 (Barkhuizen x2)

The live feed tonight will be through Radio Lancs and Quinny and his co-host.

Following the debacle before the original game was washed out when we found no County ISDN lines were working, we insisted that we would not travel without assurances we would have access to a working ISDN line. I have to tell you that no such undertaking has been received, and consequently, this country is at wa.....no hang on.
We have no means of broadcasting as they have not even bothered getting the engineer out as yet, according to their press office, so the BBC ISDN works, so they will carry the commentary for us, Cheers Derek.
Apologies for the absence of the usual texting in and banter and chat on here, cannot be helped.
Notts County formed in 1862, technology in the ground from a similar era!!

Up the Shrimps.

That sounds like a great idea, GS, but maybe we should show how professional we are and show them how it's done by providing facilities to them like we always do? ;)

It would be easy to sulk and do the same to them when they come to us.
However, County Player is through Radio Nottingham so it's BBC, who have their own ISDN line at Meadow Lane. As a result, our commentary tonight is through the BBC, so if we blocked them at the Globe, we would be biting the hand that helped us get on tonight, which really isn't the point.
It's Notts County who need a kick up the arse , not BBC Radio Nottingham!

But, Quinny is a very part time press officer for us, but he's at the ground from midday until 6pm every Saturday home game, and for the majority of that time he is in his place meeting and greeting all press and scouts and making sure they get a seat and an ISDN line or wi-if hook up or whatever.
In our experience, this isn't the case at all grounds, and most of these employees, for there are men and women, are full time!! What do they do all week?
So we hear a lot about what's wrong with the Globe, but in this case, we do genuinely lead the way in customer service in this area. Well done Derek.

Anyone notice that teams seem to hitting Barks with bad challenges and when they do he tends to go missing? Don't think he gets the protection from the ref

Tranmere fans really don't rate Stockton and are not bothered about him coming back. I bet their new manager thinks different.
