MORECAMBE WANT BENTLEY

MORECAMBE WANT BENTLEY

Postby cyprus-shrimp » Wed Oct 12, 2016 9:26 am

We seem to have threads (some of which are obviously not meant seriously), on many other clubs wanting J.B. In my opinion the message should be loud and clear to Jim (and everybody else), and that message is the title of this thread.

We as a club are at a "new beginning" and I believe that Jim deserves the chance to take the team forward with the full backing of the board. So let everybody associated with the club be positive and let all others know that WE (Morecambe FC) WANT JIM. Stop the silly rumours and then ONWARDS and UPWARDS.
The wine and the football seem better in the sunshine!!

Assuming that the new regime provide the manager at the time with funds to bring in much needed quality to supplement the current squad then it would be harsh on Jim if he wasn't there to show what kind of squad he could build with new financial backing.

PMcG has done a superb job in delivering us to where we are but by his own admission the club needs new finance to take it to the next level.

New owners of clubs usually go through the club and its employees and whittle out those under performing or can't adjust to the new directives placed on them. It may happen at our club but Jim deserves a chance to show what he can do given the new circumstances.

It will be an interesting time for all of us...both on and off the field.

Not in recent times. Home attendance of 1100 today, many of those that are staying away won't be back until there's a change of management.

FFS! If you're going to chuck in cup game against a Premiership side, you'll need to include Stoke too!

It is easy to roll your eyes and make these silly comments when you have not had to pay in and watch the shite on offer at every home game!

Didn't count the wonderful win against Stoke City's accademy as only about 500 morecambe fans bothered to turn up to watch this! Remember this was a game touted as a match to boycott
