Had Evans shown a scrap of remorse for what he'd done, the outcome would have been different. Regardless of his innocence, his actions remain despicable. Evans didn't receive "rehabilitation" as you put it, because he never accepted that he'd done anything wrong. His 'apology' yesterday was with regard to hurting his girlfriend rather than the girl.
Perhaps the girl's history was relevant in this instance. Perhaps she has got a history of getting so drunk that she appears to still be able to give consent, then not remember anything the following day. Perhaps she should have learned after the previous two occasions that were used by the defence. Perhaps the other two blokes would have come forward, even if a £50k reward for new information had not been on offer. Perhaps she has responsibility for her own actions. Perhaps she 'deserves' to have been hounded so much that she's had to move house and apparently has a new identity.
Perhaps all of that and more is true.
But Evans is still as you say, a disgraceful human being. Perhaps now, he might have grown up. Perhaps now he'll start to try and do some good for society. Perhaps.

Are you a complete misogynist in real life or just on social media? How exactly was she making any money out of him even if he'd lost the re-trial?

In that case, I apologise, I missed the stories that she was paid for. Would you mind posting some links to these stories or any other evidence of them?
