Sorry to upset the doom mongers, but a winnable tie against one of the few teams in worse form than us.

Decentish name that might actually attract a few floaters down if priced correctly.

Unlikely to make the telly, perhaps an outside chance of an international broadcast or being featured if the BBC do one of those features with several matches being covered at once.

Heck, shows you how far we have come. 10 years ago we would have been jumping up and down, bouncing off the ceiling with a tie like this. Coventry were quite good then I suppose

Hope Fleming gets another 2 remember presenting him with MOM at the first game at the Globe. What a great night. Lets get behind the lads at home and get back to winning ways.

For me a good draw. We know what to expect in terms of footballing ability.

Much better than being away at some awful non league team on a hiding to nothing.

Assuming that we can use this tie to get over our home games hoodoo....it's winnable.

You are joking!!
When does Fleming score these days? Christmas comes around more often.

With a bit of luck, he'll remember scoring those two on the opening night against them and be inspired!

3rd time.

Ist was League cup at the Globe in August 2010.

2nd was FA Cup at their place.

3rd FA Cup in 3 weeks.

The thread title is FA Cup. I was only referring to the FA Cup.

Probably

First thought was a big team at home from L1 and we might actually do OK as we would be underdogs with nothing to lose. Just checked the table though and they are rock bottom, so it will be interesting. :?

Despite our home form, it may be seen as a potential upset by Sky or BBC. Coventry are still viewed as a 'big team' in the public eye.

I reckon this will be played on the Sunday.
Last year they did about 10 games on the Sunday with all the goals being shown as they happened

Coventry fans planning a boycott due to the fact some of the gate money will go to the owners of their club:

Sounds a bit like a Blackpool situation. Outsider will enlighten us I'm sure.

Thankfully they do have fans with common sense though...
It's away from home, Morecambe haven't done anything to deserve a boycott from us fans. Good club with a nice little ground.

The others seem to forget that they'd be denying us income on purpose, which I don't agree with.

Yes, I was thinking that too! How far we've come that now playing a relatively recent FA Cup winning side, at home, isn't cause for excitement & a party?
