It was actually 16 years ago when we beat Cambridge in the 2nd Round - December 2000.

Does anyone know when Sky/BBC decide on the live games? I may be able to swing a trip over but would be miffed if I can move things, then the game gets swapped to the Friday night! I doubt if it will be alive game but it is possibly attractive enough...

So how did that work out then?

I don't think the game will be selected for live broadcast on either Sky or the Beeb.... but it might get switched to a Sunday; The BBC move 6 or 8 games and have cameras at these games so they can show goals as they go in.... or at least they did do last season. Its a total rip-off of NFL Red Zone (for American Football Fans).

Also... heard yesterday that some Coventry fans might be boycotting the game because 1/3 of the gate receipt goes to SISU (their owners).

With Merstham v Oxford on the Saturday and Southport v Fleetwood on the Monday to both be shown by BT. So only one match on a free to air channel! Each of the six clubs receive the £67,500 broadcasting fee. The other fixtures haven't been scheduled yet.

They have a live show on the bbc red button showing the goals as they go in. They choose about 8 games

Looks like Morecambe vs Coventry has been moved to the Sunday as predicted.

So what happens with the Bradfud game now , do we still play it on the Tuesday night ?. Not long between matches , might as well put reserves out for that and concentrate on the FA Cup

Move it to the Wednesday then I can decide if I want to go or not, rather than just not be able to go. :geek:

Now if Stoke beat Bury on the Tuesday we could play for a draw and both teams go through.

Come on Hodgy, that's pretty unlikely.
Stoke have played two and lost two, and Bury only lost 2-1 to Bradford after beating us 4-1.
Bradford have played two and won two.

Table as it stands:
1. Bradford 6pts GD+2
2. Bury 3pts GD+2
3. MFC 3pts GD-1
4. Stoke 0pts GD-3

I think we may well beat Bradford and pocket £10K, but I also believe Bury will beat Stoke.

If Stoke and Charlie Adam in particular play like they did in the 2nd half at The Globe they could beat Bury.

The additional 10K for beating Bradford would be most welcome along with the 10K we already have for beating Stoke. The extra money compensates for the loss in gate revenue. The money is badly needed and the boycott of the comp by a section of fans shows how it is damaging the clubs finances but that could all be rectified if every fan attended.....and thought of their club..... :(
