You prob can't answer this but is that we were screwed but we might be ok because we have new owners and you don't know enough about them so we might be ok, or are you saying we did some sort of "deal" with him just to save us but from what you know he hasn't got any money and we are still going to be screwed.

I am worried that he hasn't made any official statement about his plans for the club just a few words to radio Lancs about looking at revenue streams, which made me think he wasn't going to put much actual cash in.

It is speculation on my part that I'm trying to make sure all is based on hard facts.

For example, if Gone Shrimping is correct about an £800k payment from the EFL at the start of the season why hasn't it been used to satisfy the loan from the PFA?

In the charges section of the Companies House report we had a PFA Loan in the Summer of 2013. This charge to the PFA was only satisfied in February of this year around the time that PMG announced that the club was looking for an investor. A whole raft of charges was satisfied around the same date , a sort of "tidying up" exercise to make the club look better for anyone doing due diligence.

We then took another PFA loan in April this year which as has been alluded to is still unsatisfied. I would guess that they wouldn't use a biggish chunk of the EFL money if the PFA weren't putting pressure on and that they intend to satisfy it as soon as the new owners start injecting funds.

So "if we're (possibly) screwed" off the pitch do we need to amass more than 60 points to avoid administration and relegation??

Would we have advertised for a number of football coaches to run a "Category 3" Academy if things were going pear-shaped ?

I doubt is MPH knows any more than anyone else outside the Board.

All will come out in time ;)

It is a fair point but it could be ringfenced money to do with the Elite Player Performance Plan where we've gone from, I think Category 4 to Category 3, which attracts more budget from the Premier League but needs results?

Agree though it will all come out in the wash.
