They provided loans in the Summer of 2013. If you remember there were lots of rumours about going into administration then. These loans were only satisfied in February this year when PMG announced he was looking for an investor.

Then we took a PFA loan in April this year which is still unsatisfied.

I'm not sure that all the legal matters concerning any takeover will have been completed and if that is the case then surely PMcG is still the legal owner. If that is the case and assuming that Peter is as concerned as us then maybe, just maybe a counter take over by (let's say) a group of former Directors (?) could negotiate an acceptable deal with PMcG that would satisfy all parties and retain the ownership of the club by parties we all know....

Whatever the outcome it doesn't take a mathematical genius to work out that gates and other income can't cover the players wages on a weekly basis. Whatever criticism some are making against PMcG he has bankrolled our club BUT has the cost of being in the FL proved too much given our terrible home gates which even if we get out of this and gates improve (alongside an improvement in home form) will we be able to sustain an FL club going forward....

I want us to retain FL status but financially can we....

For me the survival of the club I've supported for 60 years is of greater importance than retaining membership of the FL and if that means a return to non league then so be it.... One thing for sure we aren't the only club with financial problems who but for their benefactors could be in a similar position to ourselves. One day their day of reckoning will dawn.

Don't we need crowds of 2.000+ just to break even? There#s the cashflow problem. Very worrying times but hopefully we are jumping the gun as to wether the new owner is genuine or not. The PFA seem hopeful after assurances that the wages problem will be dealt with by the end of the week. Let's hope it is! Under the circumstances a big turnout is needed tomorrow and NOT people boycotting the game!

How does the club secure loans against the land if they don't own the land? Has the Christie Trust been circumvented? I thought the point of the Christie Park sale was that the money was going in to The Globe and the trust was being transferred to the new ground? It is extremely worrying if we don't even have the covenants to protect us
