Interesting comment on the Accy Forum that those former players of theirs who are now with us will be used to not being paid on time during their days at Stanley.

A drop in the ocean sadly.

Players and staff are paid monthly so we are talking serious money.

£100k?

If Diego does not have £100k we are screwed!

they should still turn up, they're suppose to be professionals not mercenaries.

So would you turn up to work George knowing you hadn't been paid for the last month and you didnt know the whereabouts of your Boss.

If they turn up and get a win or even a draw think of the prize money and extra gate money. That may pay them so yes they should turn up and try! A cup game more than a league game!

Maybe he and the consortium didn't understand that they would have to Bankroll the club to find the monthly wages.... :?: :?: :?:

The spirit of JBC told you the week before last that Diego had no money, you should listen to him, and there is more bad news coming next week, apparently.

Are you alluding to HMRC ?

It would be hard to imagine that the club is up to date with the P.A.Y.E. payments.

this must happen every season in football, and players always seem to do the honourable thing, they should see it like us, just like having a knock about with your mates for a bit of fun and exorcise .

for some reason I now fancy our odds of beating Coventery and going into the hat for the next draw !

Last week I setup a new banking mandate including IDs for all directors in less than a week. I can also transfer funds same day in the UK and next day almost anywhere in the world. Online accounting and international banking really have moved on since your bank manager used his quill and abacus to sign off your 15/6 loan Neil.
