People may have been telling you this for years Neil!

I was just proving the case to our fellow die hard fan Fulwood Shrimp....who was asking the question about Gate Money to pay the players....that the money from gates alone doesn't go anywhere near the monthly outgoings of our great club.

So Neil , you must concede we cannot afford to pay off the management team that you, and 11 per cent of our fans, want rid of ?

Some would say that with ever decreasing gates (due to lack of entertainment.... ) that the club need to look seriously at the reasons.....and act accordingly before it's too late.

No business would continue to survive if its product or service wasn't a saleable proposition. Football is no different.

The survival of our club is more important than any individual(s) no matter how legendary their status may be.

Believe me, I genuinely want our management team to turn things around....the question is 'can they..' even if( :?: ) money is made available come the New Year.

I think the point is, you'd have to find the best part of 18 months salary to pay them off. Where are you planning on getting that cash from?

I really don't understand all this. It has been stated on SV's for months that the club is losing big money every week so how come Lemos comes along, buys the club (we think), advertises for youth academy coaches and doesn't have the money to pay the players without (possibly ) having to sell someone. If we new the club was running at a big loss how come he didn't? If something else has suddenly appeared in the accounts which wasn't obvious before where has it suddenly come from? Even if you could have afforded to buy the club, unless you were already a long time fan, would any of you have done so unless you had loads of money to cover things until the club could be turned round? You'd have to be a real gambler because the odds would be enormously stacked against you.

I'm not one who thinks the board should tell us all the facts as that could do more harm than good but I have to admit to being very puzzled and even more worried.

I think it was Gordon Taylor form the PFA who mentioned selling a player. It was pointed out to him that with the transfer window closed that couldn't be done.

It still proves that we (Mr Lemos) have no money if the PFA suggested it in order to get their money back.

What if
Diego is the middle man and doing the running about for the money man.
It turns out that the club have not been honest in the deal and the money man is pulling out.
Diego is still trying to convince the money man to change his mind.

You mean somebody who can't take the position of chairman themselves , a bit like what happened at chester a few years ago?

Thats a bit unlikely, I mean , we wouldn't want someone like Peter Harrison owning the club ,would we?

Perhaps we ought to write a thriller based on this for ITV. That might get us a few quid
