Excellent idea. I assume you'd get a meal as part of the deal. Got to be worth at least £40 per person to support our club financially. Possibly even more..... :D

The boxes are £1200 each according to the official site and can accommodate 20 people. That would work out at £60 each.

You could get a bit creative with the pricing and charge more for certain things such as:

1 x £100 to present the man of the match award
4 x £100 to go on the pitch before the game and have your photo with the team captains
1 x £100 to have your name in the programme, scoreboard, PA announcements etc etc
5 x £50 to get a car parking space at the ground for the game
9 x £40 for just a regular space in the box (includes meal, visit from JB, watch game on balcony etc).

Just a rough idea but that would make £1210 for the club and the box would be full with 20 people.

They should train the programme sellers and half time draw ticket sellers to actually look at the fans as they walk round! The amount of times i or a mate have had to shout or wave at them to gain their attention is ridiculous! I doubt it will increase sales by much but any amount must be welcomed. Any F-Com christmas raffles coming up? Happy to donate a bottle of something. Outsider knows who i am!

Theres another 240 in vat on top of that 1200 shrimpy, and sponsorship packages are FROM, £1200, usually nearer 1500 plus vat or around £80 plus pp.

As for my response to certain posters asking me to explain where the club should look at for much needed extra cash....the following will not go down with fans but here goes.

1 Increase all alcohol prices by up to 10% that is consumed in the Wright and Lord Suite only.

2 The club has its own mini bus. That should be used to transport the Merseyside and Manchester based player to and from The Globe on training days, saving on players claiming travel expenses. The coach would be based with Ken McK at his Wirral home.

3 The club should make obtaining a sponsor for the Stadium as an urgent priority. I've already posted about progressive companies based in Heysham.

4 Fans at all levels should agree to buy ONE half time draw ticket with the chance of winning a cash prize.

5 The formation of a 100 club where fans would agree to pay a minimum of £10 per month with a prize draw per month of £250.

6 Ensure that ALL away fans who have access to the Globe Car Parks pay a parking fee of £5.00.

I fully expect a lot of critical feedback regarding the above. BUT I've not seen many suggestions from SVers as to how the club increases its revenue.

Quick to criticise but slow to make suggestions....

Sorry CC but most of these ideas are awful:

1) Dual pricing is totally wrong. Why should you pay more for a drink in a different bar? The extra revenue would be insignificant but the good will lost would damaging.

2) Player's mini bus. Do the club actually pay expenses for the players to get to their place of work? Sat on a mini bus is hardly good for footballers bodies before and after training. I know you don't like Ken but is demoting him to bus driver really fair?

3) Ground sponsor. I agree this has to be a massive priority. If we can get a deal done it will bring in £100,000s. :D

4 & 5) There already are draws to spend cash on. Many would also choose to spend their cash on other things around the ground

6) Parking for away travellers. This is the worst idea of the lot. The hardcore who go away pay enough. More good will would be lost if this was brought in. Fans would just park outside anyway and it to enforce you'd need someone to take the money etc.

Think the club's problems will only be solved by drawing back the lost 800 regulars, not trying to milk the hardcore 1200 we have left.

it can be done over a few season, think it's been said 2200 to become self-sufficient.

a new sponsors name for the stadium will do for starters, can't believe we can't get a local sponsor, can't we just get somebody from the commercial department to get the local yellow pages and go through it a-z.

To be fair to the club, I got the impression at the last fans forum that they have advertised over a period of time and nobody out there seems to want to sponsor the ground :?

Some seem to think that we're sat on a goldmine and we just can't be bothered or haven't thought to get a sponsor on board.

I suspect the end result is that we'll have to slash whatever price we're asking just to get a sponsor and it won't be the £££ that some are expecting. Still, money is money and I think we should be lowering our price now and opening the market up to more local companies.

Why would anyone want to put there company name to something that get so much negative posts on here and or other social media site's? Would the odd mention on Soccer Saturday or the local new be worth the outlay?

The only other thing cumming up will be the Jnr reds Christmas party. With the events at The Globe there wasn't many free dates.

Fellow SVers asked me to propose how to increase our finances which I have done. I accept that you and no doubt others will find my proposals unacceptable.

However it would be more than welcome to hear what you and others would do to improve the clubs finances.

well I know quite a few people round here with plenty of Dosh, who defiantly don't read SVs or FB and when they do come to the Globe don't watch any of Jim's football , and instead choose to socialise and get drunk at the same time.

so that's you shot down ;) :P

Why are they defiant?

Re the subject of stadium sponsorship why not raffle it off? Say £100 a ticket for individuals & £250 for companies. I'm sure we could sell 100 of each. Thats £35k. Throw in a few other prizes or add names to a supporters wall.

The Christies Child Arena has quite a ring to it

We make award winning pies in our own kitchens.

Why not try wholesaling these in shops around Morecambe and Lancaster and surrounding district ?
