Awful news! I have known marshy a few years through work, and he genuinely was one of the nicest most down to earth blokes you could meet , nothing fazed him , and his attitude towards his illness was so positive! He leaves behind a wife and 2 very young kiddies , my thoughts are with marshy's young family at this sad time! RIP MARSHY LCFC legend!

He had a trial at Blackpool too, under Holloway. Never seen him play but apparently he was a rock in the back 4.

I saw Neil play a few times and he was a rock. I would not like to have played against him as he gave nothing away . so consistent.
my wife and I met his wife a few times through her work and she is a lovely bubbly person.
It doesnt seem long since he retired and this news is so sad. Only 32! Life is so unfair at times.
