FA Cup Defeat

Postby Aspers » Thu Nov 17, 2016 7:51 am

I have a mate who lives in Sydbey and he's originally from Coventry, his brother in law was at the match and he told him he thought we looked really dangerous in the 1st half and said we should have been 3-1 up at halftime time. He then said that we looked a different team in the 2 nd half and sat back hoping to counter. He also said
that if we had played as well in the 2 nd half as we did a in the 1st we probably would have won!
For those that went, do you agree? In all the reports I have read none of them came close to saying this.

I'd say he's got a good point!

I certainly thought we missed a great chance to go 2.0 up.
We have the ability, but can only keep pressure on for a third of a game as I have said many a time.

Nobody expects us to dominate a game for 90 minutes, but we do seem to shoot ourselves in the foot so many times, either giving ourselves a mountain to climb early on in a half, or when we score first inviting pressure on.

20 goals scored, 12 by loanees that are here till January, 5 by Tom who has left the building.

We are conceding 2 goals a game and cant see that changing on Saturday :(
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Can you cheer us up some more

It will all change in January , some top players will sign from Championship clubs and the Mighty Shrimps will surge up the league.

We will be playing our home games on Fantasy Island though
