I don't think it's the Globe at all. It's a poor excuse and even the manager comes out with it.

I think JB has a book of excuses, he must be getting near to the last page of it by now he's been using it enough!! He will be a legend alright the only manager in Morecambe's history to be relegated.
Don't worry be happy!

Our home form is and has been a problem for years.
But if there is a suggestion that Luton are not very good, I would have to disagree. They have a look of a side going places, big, mobile, powerful with good movement.

I dont think we can complain losing to much better teams than ourselves in games against Doncaster, Carlisle and Luton, as long as we try our best, show some passion (not just flying in on tackles to get sent off, or throwing water bottles) and actually compete while stringing some forward passes together.

Whats worrying is when we don't show up against teams lower down and give them a leg up without reply like Exeter and Stevenage.
Exeter are now rock bottom having conceded 3 goals in each of their League games since they beat us 3.0 !
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

The number 9 with a mask looked a real quality player at this level.

And they had Craig Mackail-Smith on the bench !

Hylton, he of the Phantom mask, was at Oxford last year, his goals helped them get up. However he turned down a new contract for Luton and bigger wages, very potent at this level. Was
Adershots biggest threat when he was there.

Absolutely agree with mr potato head.
The Globe is definitely cursed. Always has been.
Have you heard of any other team in recent years with such a poor home record?

I'm leaning towards Mr P too if truth be known....!!

When Colchester moved from Layer Road it took them years to find their form there at their new ground and their fans said there was a curse on it.

Still, they turned things around there. Didn't take this long though admitedly..... :(

No curse but some form of mass hypnosis appears to be taking place to divert our attention from the real problem.

The place has always suffered negativity towards it by Sammy and Jim, ever since we weren't able to have a pre-season programme there in 2010. If anything, Jim's continued negative attitude towards home form has snowballed and often rubbed off onto the players. I think it's just an excuse for a continued lack of confidence in front of home support rather than just working hard to get on with the job.

Jim sets us up like an away team not wanting to loose so we play negative boaring football which then bores everyone to tears and then the fans become negative.
