Delays at Lancaster train station tonight due to strong winds.

Tomorrows forecast looks better with regards to wind speeds. Can you imagine if the game was tonight, there would be lots of frustrated fans (and that's before the football starts!). I presume the majority will be travelling by train tomorrow?

Was a typical problem with something blowing onto the overhead power cables so obviously no trains could run until the item had been safely removed. Knock-on effect for rest of this evening with crews and trains displaced, but the wind's dropped and shouldn't affect things tomorrow.
