Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Arseshaving is quoted as saying he perhaps should have had french lessons rather than english lessons prior to joining up with Les Arse

Yes I have heared a few stories about him and why his clubs always pay mad money for players makes you wonder where all the money goes.

i think its pathetic, Abramovic doesnt have a clue about football. Chelsea need to grow up and stop sacking managers just because they arn't top. Its pathetic, just because they are not good enough atm to compete with Man Utd, Liverpool and Aston Villa, you think sacking the manager will make you stronger. Think again. It just goes to show how these owners are clueless about the game. By sacking Scolari they have now sacraficed any chance of winning the title. Chelsea are embarassing them selves by having this many managers. Look at Arsenal, they dont have a boo hoo and sack Wenger because they arent up there yet. No one is ever going to want the Chelsea job if the job security is this bad.
Sorry for the rant

No mate youre not going mad, youre spot on. For the blackpool match we had about 15500 which is the worst for about ten years. The new chairman then announced that the charlton match would be £10 adults and a fiver for kids....we got 30,000 turn up for that one..!

He has now cut ticket prices by 25% and also given that saving back to season ticket holders too. On saturday against united he paid for a giant screen to be erected on the pitch at hillsborough (as they wouldn't give us the entire bramall lane end) and 9,000 watched the match live at hillsborough.

I dont think the guy is the new messiah but he is indeed a very astute business man and his 'giving the club back to the fans' approach is definately paying dividends. He's an absolute star !! :D

Today, he announced that we have turned down a lucrative shirt sponsership deal and instead donated it all to the sheffield childrens hospital charity who's logo will be on our shirts for the next 2 seasons. He wants to show that footballs not all about money grabbing and more about being part of the community youre in. At this rate , he'll be the next prime minister.. :D

The atmosphere has changed completely at S6, I dont think were about to trouble man u just yet, but it certainly does feel like weve got our club back, and this week, I am oh so proud to be a wednesdayite..! ;)

sorry.....in answer to your original question...yes, we really did hate the last bloke..... ;)

That's fantastic especially about the price cuts and giving money back to the season ticket holders, that must have cost him a fair few quid in the short term layout but then if your getting 30,000 he will hopefully soon get it back.

So does this mean the club is now debt free?

Also did they ever get the training facilities sorted out from what i remember they had been trying to sell the training ground years ago?

Glad it's getting sorted I also felt that the club behind the scenes was rotten and it didn't matter who was manager noone would be able to do a good job because of what went on behind the scenes.

youre bang on..they were real old school and just didn't give a toss about the fans (spent 3 years suing a dozen of them!), this new guys all about transparency and getting some new investment in. He is going a long way to try and improve the commercial image so as to make us into an investable option, and i have to say he's made a damn good start.

Unfortunately we do still have the little matter of a £23 million pound debt round our necks but we are able to service this debt and in fact last accounting year where one of only two championship clubs to return an operating profit

whatever...its all good and brian laws is god!!!! :D ;)
