Well Diego has been appointed as a Director of PMG Leisure Limited and up to now no pre club-sale directors have resigned from Morecambe FC's board , not even the one rumoured to be doing a lot of gardening !

This suggests there is a degree of collaboration between PMG and the new owners.

The only part of my post that was removed was the part that quoted your libellous comment. So I I guess we are in agreement that crap was removed from my post, yes.

PS Is it really OK to go around calling other people's posts "crap" by the way? By all means, disagree with them, but do it in a more constructive fashion.

Honest answer please, without resorting to smileys or emoticons - how would you react should I call one of your posts crap?

Yeah CC, you accused me of having ''issues'' with PMG (which I haven't) on another post , yet you are the only one on here to actually libel him, I think you have the shortest memory in town

The published annual accounts showed only one year when there was any significant amount of cash in the bank, so that means the cash was in the company for less than 2 years, probably less than 1 year as a balance sheet is just a snapshot on a particular day. Whatever the interest rate, money held for just a year or two isn't going to produce a huge amount of income. As an illustration, say there was £5million in the bank for six months. Even at 5 which was optimistic even before the recession, that's only £125k which is a drop in the ocean of the circa £8m spent on the globe and the £2-£3 million lost since then.

Christies Child wrote:It's interesting that at AGMs since The Globe was built that few if any shareholders have actually stood up and accused the powers that be of failing in their duty to act in the best interests of the club that we ALL support with regards to the monies from the sale of CP.

You'd have to ask the shareholders that - though most of those holding large amounts are on the board. Anyway, Stephen Wright and Graham Hodgson both resigned from the board early 2013 and were both quoted on the OWS as not being happy with how the club was being managed.

All this ungodly mess is far, far from being Jim's fault.

Don't recall anybody blaming Jim for the off field situation, certainly not myself.

Jim's only responsibility is for on field matters.

And whoever managed our squad would struggle because it's made up of players nobody else wants, not his fault , this is not "blades of glory".

Maybe it isn't. But then again, you've not answered my question (again). Is it OK to call my posts crap?

But if you really want to drag that incident back up (and you have just done so), why did you think I didn't have the respect of shrimpsvoices (whether I do or not is insignificant to me), and what puts you on a pedestal to enable you to make that proclamation.

I believe you also had a go at me for not having commented publically on the takeover. Given the situation we now find ourselves in, perhaps my "wait and see" approach was better than the arselicking some were indulging in.

So let's settle this once and for all - are we both going to play nice, or are you going to be as equally nasty and snidey as you try to paint me?

As far as I'm concerned I'd prefer to wipe the slate clean and accept that on certain issues we disagree.

It's never been my intention to deliberately be provocative in any of my posts to any other SV readers or posters.

I just say what I feel and think which I can accept does result in a reaction from others who disagree with my thoughts on certain issues.

I'm sure certain followers of this forum enjoy our all too often spats...but for me it's time to build bridges rather than continue this tit for tat response we've found ourselves in.

One thing for sure..it's not doing my blood pressure any good....

We disagree. That's fine. And you avoid a direct question again.

There has been no tit for tat in this thread however. It started by my pointing out that you were criticising others for criticising the chairman, ironic given your recent libellous comment. You then chose to label my removed post (again, which was quoting your removed post) as crap. Any confrontation started in this thread began there, by you.

Post what you like, how you like, when you like. However, stop playing the martyr and playing hurt when people are mean to you and then make posts calling other people's posts crap.

You made a big deal of you wife asking you why you put up with posting on here the last time you flounced off. What would she make of some of your posts? Stop trying to have your cake and eat it.

And on-field matter's over the past few seasons have been heavily influenced by whats gone on off the field - is it really that difficult to underrstand..

Fair comment, John L by the way - but I argue it's the main reason we're struggling on the pitch - when a manager wants to change things on a bad run often they will bring in new players - Jim has struggled to get decent players in who can influence things and it has got worse as time has gone on since his hands have been tied tighter and tighter. Even Fergie knew to change squads around - even good players - to keep things fresh and new sparks coming season after season

I understand that off the field activities have influenced whats happened on the pitch but there has also been bizarre team selections, lack of a plan B, a focus on negative tactics, a failure to improve the defence by extra coaching and a feeling that sometimes the management weren't motivating the team.

I get all that and I'm not sayin he's perfect but I still maintain the main background influence on our teams downward momentum has been wants been going on off the pitch. Its much easier to influence all those things if you can build a better squad and freshen it up - with good players - close season and in Janury.
And we don't know what other things week by week affect team selections etc.

I jus culdnt believe a few months ago the nasty stick he was getting with hardly any acknowledgment by some of what had been going on off the pitch for a couple of years at least. All about opinions and that's mine.

Christies Child I don't need to justify any hard FACT against this forum's serial speculator. It is purely common sense and if you have even an ounce of business acumen you would know that Sainsbury's would not have handed us a cheque for £Xm on day 1 and this nice lump sum was sitting in a bank account for years.

Business simply doesn't work like that.

Regarding Jim's Plymouth preview on the website: "just come up a bit short", and "We aren’t getting steamrollered but we’re talking about fine lines".

Jim's vision is clouded if he thinks the above relates to losing at home 3-0 to Carlisle and Exeter and 2-0 to Stevenage and Luton.

There was no a bit short or fine lines at all.
