The figure quoted last night was expected to be larger than the £200k being banded about.

But what about the cost of the building, utilities, services, etc? If the money to build it is being borrowed, there'll be loan repayments and interest to pay. It's not just pure profit is it?

Not to mention that £200k of rental income is remarkably optimistic - how many floors will it be and how much floor space. There are local huge buildings that are being rented out for a fraction of that.

Only way we'll see that sort of money surely will be if some of our current directors / benefactors move their companies into the office and pay "Andy Pilley / BES Gas" rates.

As I see it, the info about the office development has already created some negativity. May I suggest that everybody waits until the plans are released. As for who will take space, it's already been documented that one prominent company based at White Cross in Lancaster will be taking space. The opening of The Bay Gateway has made the Morecambe area of greater attraction than before and we all know of the expansion plans for at least one major company currently based at Heysham which I feel will only be the start of major expansion of businesses in the area.

No apology from me for being optimistic about the future of the area..... :)

Wasn't the Health Authority mentioned some time ago in relation to occupying the office block ?

I'm sure someone said a while back that the club had tenants for at least 50% of the development.

Little things (but major things) like kit deals for next season for example??

Who is negotiating / arranging these at the moment ??

Surely things like this would be in motion and being planned now?

Way back at the Fans Forum in February 2016 I remember Mark Dixon saying that the following season's home and away kits were ordered the previous November.
Wonder if that has been done, as it is December tomorrow.

Just hope that for the ease of convenience that it ISN'T our current supplier after the way they treated us. Plenty of reputable makes out their no doubt looking for extra business. Macron, New Balance to name two.... :)

Not negativity Neil, just more questions than answers. How, Which, Where, Why, When, What.

At these meetings these things need asking

Do the NHS need more office space? I thought they had that old mill on Moor Lane in Lancaster. Isn't that monstrosity at Heysham still virtually empty - I'd heard the upper floors weren't being used.

The PNE is mostly a large busy GP surgery/health centre rather than offices.

Frankly I don't care who pays so long as someone is and they are tied at the time of building the thing

There are lots of questions asked Supermarket, not many answers though( you are welcome to attend these things and ask yourself) top and bottom of it is, Diego owns MFC, A business, and he chooses to answer or not, what he feels like answering, and no one can make him do otherwise as long as he doesn't break any company laws )

Unfortunately a supporters trust can only work with him if he wants them to, as can a board of directors.

Unfortunately early next year a Heysham based company is moving out of its large office on North Quay so that will most likely be available to rent. They also used to be corporate sponsors at the Globe but I believe they stopped that this season (although their hoardings are still up in the away end  )

Does he "own the club"? Has he paid for the shares he's agreed to buy?

The shares are officially in Diego's name. The transfer form has been signed and submitted.

The payment for the shares is a private matter between PMG and Diego.

Has it? Share transfer forms aren't logged on Co House so there'll be no visible public record of the share transfer.

We were assured last night the deal between PMG and Diego is done, and Diego owns , I think 2 million shares, in the club.

I hope these weren't the same people spreading the rumour that a separate company existed for functions.

TBH, at the moment I believe very little that flows out of MFC which only seems to come out at quite convenient times.

Diego has acquired over 3,000,000 shares from PMG. PMG now has no shares at all. The Confirmation Statement will provide proof of this but the next one is not due until June 2017.
There will be a Shareholders AGM at some point and this will present the accounts to May 2015 and also the year to May 2016. Any shareholder with 10% or more of issued shares can call an AGM but there is only one shareholder who falls into that category now , Diego.
