He's on company house as a director.

It's totally irrelevant, whatever it says on companys house free website , theres only one director that matters, the owner of the club.

It will be interesting to see if he makes an appearance this Saturday.
If he doesn't,then it will be an ominous sign IMO as the next home game isn't till 2nd January.
I am just speculating of course, because he has attended home matches in the past, so if he stops attending, well, that will not be a good sign.

Father Christmas usually comes bearing gifts.....not sure if it will be Scrooge who turns up as a replacement or even the Ghost of Christmas past .

I always liked those chocolate pennies wrapped in gold papaer....I think the club would prefer bundles of £100 notes in preference to chocolate pennies..... :o :o :o

If you want some supporters to come back, it's definitely not irrelevant and anyway, that's a very blinkered attitude. All directors matter. They make the club what it is and it's not all just about money.

I heard that the very slow building being built next to the Globe, where the church is, is going to be a mansion, owned by the Oxcliffe Rd caravan park owner.

This true?

I was not negating the worth if the other directors nasher, I was merely pointing out they are powerless to do anything without the ok, and money, of the owner.

The minor shareholding Directors are as powererless, and clueless as to what is, or isn't happening.

I might suggest that some (not necessarily all) wonder if he's wandering around in the desert. I also wouldn't suggest this is affecting anyone's morals, but could be having an impact on morale.

PS Apologies to Outsider for the limited use of apostrophes and to Mr P for the lack of commas.

Is it the same chap that's redeveloping the old Farmhouse Tavern/motel site on Morecambe road?
