You know we were saying the same yesterday "why do WE bother" , my mrs and me are long time season ticket holders and regard ourselves as loyal supporters but to be honest our loyalty is being stretched . We calculated the other day we spend upwards of 2k per season with our club and week after week we are coming away more and more fed up with what's going on around the club . If it wasn't for the strong friendships we have with other supporters I think my money would be heading towards Thomas Cooks :(

But you HAVE the friendship of other fans. Year after year its that what keeps us all going whatever is happening on and off the pitch. That's the point. Its all we can do. Keep going and having the crack. Support the team and whatever else will take care of it's self.

We do go, We do support the team when results are good or bad ,it's what's going on off the pitch that's destroying the club . The pre and after match "crack" you are talking about has turned into rumors and speculation due o the continuing silence .

Imagine what the speculation is like amongst the players, they are amongst the worst paid in the league to start with, and on top of that they have to contend with the possibility of no wages at the end of the month, personally I think Diego would have some ''neck'' to come swanning in after a couple of months AWOL, if he has no cash!

I keep hearing that we need to hear from Diego and PMG. I agree, but what's the media doing about this. The Visitor, Lancaster Guardian, The Bay and Radio Lancashire I wonder if they're looking at this. Or do we now lack the journalists to actually investigate an issue that reaches thousands of local fans and their families and friends.

The complacency, even from a section of our own fans, is staggering.

Don't forget "it's our club" ......... Sounds hollow doesn't it, but then again, fans have been treated with disdain for several years so why do we expect anything different now?

I want to believe that when PMcG and his colleagues on the Board made that statement that it was true.

However what I suspect is that Diego and his Qatar backers didin't realise that they would have to bankroll the club on an on going month to month season and that it is that that is causing the crisis that for me has no sign of being resolved.

I suspect that we will soon hear that OUR club is on the market again but at a greatly reduced figure which (hopefully) will encourage a consortium of former and current Directors to undertake control.

They would have to be seriously thick to not realise how much cash is needed just to keep the club afloat. In the last set of accounts we showed a net operating cash OUTflow of £672k - that's £13k a week or £56k a month that needs to come from somewhere.

How many current or former directors have the ability or desire to fund that sort of cash gap? Pure fantasy.

If McGuigan got a quid for the club he did well, it is nothing but a liability.

Sorry CC but I can't believe that someone who is buying a club doesn't look at past financial results
How can he not have known that we were losing money every month.

Ok..but what other explanation could there be for a no show of cash that Diego promised as a means of taking the club forward. :?: :?: :?:

It could of course all be part of a major con on the part of Diego and Co to put the club back onto the market and sell it to a development company to use it for future housing development of which I understand part of Abdullah,s family are shareholders in. All pure speculation of course but nothing surprises me any more regarding the takeover,,,. :o :o :o

First thing I would do is take PM's name down from the stand and get it sponsored because we seriously need money now to fund players for our survival bid.

Face facts we won't see Diego again
He's realised PMG tried to sell him a pup
Has cancelled his payment ( if there ever was one)
So we are rudderless unless our present and ex board members bail us out
But you never know ??

So if Diago has indeed done a runner and left the bill for buying the club, does that mean we are now back under the ownership of PMG?

The next couple of weeks will surely lead to the picture becoming a bit clearer?

The spirit of JB christie was chuckling away at tonights meeting , the theories are cracking him up, he thinks Neil is especially funny, the boring truth is as follows, Diego bought all peters shares, but has no more money, he may find investors, but as far as JB is concerned, the curse stands.

Maybe Mystic Lee could tell us the winning numbers of the next Euro Millions draw then all the club's finances would be sorted. But would our Lottery Manager find the win acceptable :?: :?: :?:

well why would Diago set up a monthly DD account for staff wages?

the real question is, does Diego know he's to bankroll us every year because of our poor fan base

The public accounts show the huge losses made every year. It's blatantly obvious that whoever bought it would have to keep pumping that money in. Where else would any sane person think the money to cover the losses is coming from? Diego must have known what he was getting himself into.

So when PM said he wouldn't just sell to anyone, they would have to be in Morecambe fc's best interests.
He was lying to us all and has just sold us to the first crank that came along

I hope so Ken

Diego might have the attitude I've already told and reassured them all after the wages hiccup, and im not telling them again.

plus we knew he'd other business interests and wouldn't be hands with us on a daily basis.
