Let's do our bit

What can we do to help fill the Globe on Monday? The club have stated how serious the current situation is and we need big crowds in January. So who's bringing a friend or family member to the game that doesn't usually come?

Lasts nights score wouldn't have helped to attract the neutrals hopefully they can see past the result and see the bigger picture that their support is needed whatever the results.

Five goals a game has to be entertaining for neutrals!

So how did that work out then?

I'm bringing 3. Could have been 5 but a Crewe season ticket holder says, 'he doesn't need more misery'. Hopefully a good sign.

Depends if he meant misery from his team or from standing amongst us lot... ;)

Just an idea but if you're a season ticket holder and can spare the money why not pay to get in rather than use your season ticket?

If we got an extra thousand fans (which we won't) would the extra 10 grand be much use, probably not, but it would be a great boost for Jim and the team, we support the team, not the board.

This is what it's really all about for me. I will try and drag a few extras down with me if I can. Be nice to get 2000+ home fans if we can.

With everything that's gone on in the last few weeks the number of home fans at tomorrow's game will be a good barometer on whether the people of Morecambe really do want a football league team. Let's hope so.

My work colleague who is a Mansfield fan had pencilled in a works outing to Blackpool v Mansfield some time ago.
That match is tomorrow, and I was going to go.
However, with the current situation at Morecambe and as I have been to most home games in the last few seasons, I have decided that the team in my heart always comes first, and my £17 in the Omega Stand is needed more than ever, so I will be there tomorrow.
