Pre-match:

"We won't want to use Luke Jordan or he'll be classed as a first team squad player and reduce our chances of signing someone"

90th Minute:

"Luke Jordan! What a prospect! Fantastic debut!".

:D :D :D

9 points off relegation and play offs now. Goal difference compared to teams around us now much healthier compared to a few weeks back. Arise Sir Jim

Earlier on, when Barnet & Orient were drawing, we were actually closer to the Play Offs than relegation despite being 17th!

Barnet winning is actually a good thing though as we're now five points clear of them too :D

It's a pity the news over the last few weeks didn't break sooner. Now the fans understand the predicament we're in there seems to be much more of a togetherness and pulling in the same direction. The players are responding to the encouragement and hopefully the curse of the Globe has been lifted. If we carry on with this mentality we can make it a fortress. As Mark S announced at the end of the game 'THIS IS OUR CLUB'. Top effort from all the players today. One happy Shrimp.

Totally agree, we're at last (and thankfully!) developing a bunker mentality. All pulling together as one. Just how it should be! :D

I would think through FCOM or just drop it at reception in an envelope.

Well done to Mark S today rallying that call, and superb generosity in January from everyone who contributed.
Plenty gave a lot, thank you, but loads of younger generation gave their coins too, very humbling experience, well done to the lot of you for the noise and the collection.
That feeling of being all in this together is returning and long may it continue.

What a great day that was :D
Quality performance from the whole side and now 9 points clear of relegation! Only downfall was flemmo which was right infront of me an deserved a red card. Be a big loss the next 3 games ! Was worried at one point in the first half that the game would get called off due to fog it was getting that bad !

Also great by freez going round taking donations for Jim's fine, showed what a true family club we are. Let's hope this is the start of a great year, COYS :D

Having just watched the highlights, it is obviously absolutely correct to give praise to young Luke Jordan, but I think Mr Ellison also deserves a big pat on the back. As I was watching the build up to the goal, I thought "how on earth is Kev going to finish up knocking in the rebound off the crossbar; he is actually behind Jordan". When the ball did come back out, Kev's instinct and experience got him to the ball first, and it was then an excellent finish from a fair way out to make it 4. Also noteworthy that he went straight to the youngster to praise him (as did others). Another good sign of togetherness.

Now - let's keep it going, even though we are not back at FORTRESS GLOBE ( :o :o ) until February.

Agreed with all that.

Also worth saying it was a fantastic save by Loach to fingertip it onto the woodwork otherwise it would have been a goal of the week contender.
