Focusing on the on-field stuff rather than the off-field, and trying to build on the much improved atmosphere and togetherness clearly being demonstrated, I was looking through the Cyprus-printed version of the Daily Mail this morning (oh yes life is exciting here!!! ).
Something I saw brought back fond memories of:-
1). Beating York over 2 legs to get to Wembley to beat Exeter and reach League 2.
2). The official last game at Christie Park when we beat Aldershot 1-0 and
3). The actual last game at CP when we beat Dagenham and Redbridge after getting thumped 6-0 in the first leg of the League 2 play-offs.
And what triggered these memories was a sight of the Vanarama National League table. Both Aldershot and The Daggers were there and right at the very bottom - York.
So, despite our problems, let's celebrate our continuing league status and realise that we really have achieved something at Morecambe.
