Brilliant. Well done to everyone associated with Fans Club and the new Trust. They've done a brilliant job of raising money for the club, putting on events and laid the foundation for really strong representation for the fans.

A huge thanks to Richard Allan for doing all the work with Supporters Direct that has taken a huge amount of his time. To Paul Carter, Stuart Rae, Mark Swindlehurst, Ian Lyon, Dave Wilcock, Mel Weatherill, Dave Burke, Oliver Hainsworth, Steve Doran and the rest of the Fans Club committee who backed all this unanimously and were brave enough to commit themselves, a massive thank you. And also to the supporters who turned up to the cricket club to make this happen.

This is only the start! Together we can do so much more. Get involved, join the Supporters Trust and put your name forward to be a Trustee, if you think you can contribute.

Great :D

So to join up is everything staying exactly as it was under FCOM or might there be some changes.

Personally I would increase the membership fee to £10.

Also does the trust have any thoughts on getting official fundraising going like was discussed a few days ago as lots of people want to help at the moment.

All of these will have to be decided when the Trust is up and running. As Fans club membership runs to the end of this season, It will give the new board of Trustees time to sort it out.

Well done to all those involved in getting the Trust sorted.

Be interesting to see and hear from the club's Board their take on this move.

I hope that they are as encouraged about the creation of a Trust and see it as further progression of our club.

A great development. Well done to all concerned. Our club needs all the help it can get and I am confident the Trust will be able to give great support.

Well done to all involved. Think an increase to £10 a season would still keep the same level of membership.

I would suggest an email from FCOM to the board, via the commercial dept. should be considered, informing them of any progress, after all, the aim is to work with the club, maybe asking for some feedback from the club/ board, as a matter of courtesy .

Communication with the club is in hand.

Excellent suggestion Lee.

Maybe to show how professional the Trust will be, why not on official Fans Club stationary (assuming that such a thing exists) signed by all the current Trust Board.

If someone wants to start a 'how to contact' post, I'll make it a 'closed sticky thread'. Not a fan of stickies in general as people stop looking at them whereas threads that 'bounce' get more attention. But a 'click here to find info' would be useful.

Well done everyone involved in this. Out of adversity we will be stronger.

Essentially, although we are communicating with the club on a variety of matters, "the official" board of trustees will be the ones voting in so it's pointless doing anything until we have an official board in that regard.

The trust has been frankly inundated with people, businesses and well wishers willing to donate money, time and a variety of free services.

The trust will be doing everything in our power to ensure that this positive energy carries forward, I never thought for a minute we'd get 100 to a meeting just to agree the process, let alone the rest that has followed.

there will be another leap forward by the end on next week.

Sounded like a great performance today - it's amazing what we can do when we are united.

So are we able to take these offers up.now especially the donations or do we have to wait until people are voted in and do you have a rough idea when the elections will be.

We can't put a time frame on it phil. We will have a load more stuff to process Come this time next week and will report as soon as we can.

In my opinion we looking at weeks rather than months. However until We have facts and processes I can't tell anyone with any surety
