Delay in Whitmore return

Delay in Whitmore return

Just wondering why there is a delay in the return of Whitmore from Burnley. Keep reading all parties are keen for it to happen so why hasn't it?

Maybe it has happened.

How would we know?

There's nothing on the OWS about the lad from Everton yet.

I reckon it'll be something to do with the embargo. Perhaps it's agreed and players are here but isn't being announced until the embargo terms are ratified before announcing?

Certainly hope so. He's been very good for us BUT I just hope that we don't revert to a back 3 which could well happen.

We've been more attack minded with a convential back 4 for me.... :)

When our game was called off today the club tweeted a picture of the players sat around looking glum on their phones. Whitmore was front and centre on the picture.... could be an old photo I guess.
