It must be awful when your credibility diminishes.

But are they in a position to be able to put £500k into the club each year to cover the ongoing losses? Even in PMG sold it to them for a quid each, the club's still making huge losses that need to be financed, even before they start to think about development/improvement.

It's more than that; we need someone coming in, whether a new owner or brought in by a new owner, who has the vision and creativity to find ways of generating income. This means both getting disgruntled old and completely new fans coming to watch the football, due to on- and off-field investments/improvements, and non-football revenue streams. I know several people have put forward suggestions on here in that regard, but we need a professional on the staff with the ability to do it. If he or she is any good at their job, they'll be paying their own salary with the additional income they generate for the club.

Yes, fully agree, but it takes time to turn the club around, and in the meantime, i.e. 2/3/4 years, it still needs someone with deep pockets to plug the £1/2m p.a. gap AND put in even more for the development/improvement. We need someone who has plenty of cash available AND vision - one or other isn't workable.
