So Abdullah was behind G50 Holdings all along?

Looks like Diego was the patsy? So much for Abdullah being the 'good guy'???

We have been informed by Joseph Cala that the interim finance for creditors and wages will be received no later than Tuesday.

Transfer window slams shut before any money arrives.

Given that Cala must have four board members and he talks about 'open & transparent' operations, perhaps he'll appoint a member of the Shrimps Trust to the board. If he does that, my opinion will spin on a dime!

If I thought I was lost before today, I don't know what I am now. Apart from that side of the fiasco, the key part for me is:

We have been informed by Joseph Cala that the interim finance for creditors and wages will be received no later than Tuesday.

First test for the new owner only a few days away. Fingers crossed the money shows up and wages are paid.

Interviews from the Cala camp earlier in the week suggested that whilst the shares were in Diego's name it was Abdul who actually paid for them and in their opinion it was Abdul who owned the club. I don't know if that stands up legally or if its true but it would clear up why Abdul is now selling it and not Diego.

So it's a done deal subject to EFL approval which on the strength of other take overs looks to be a formalaty.

What I want to hear from Cala first and foremost is the position regarding Jimbo. If like other new owners who take over at other clubs the manager's position is reviewed. if that happens and Jimbo is no longer our manager it will be a sad day for all of us who have supported the club through the good and the bad'.

Struggling to find any positives here, feel very sorry for the board members bar 2, worry for the management, and understand how it must have felt in the darkest days of being a WImbledon fan...gutted.

He said in the Bay interview he had investors. Will be good to find out who they are and where their money comes from.

the EFL should not let people bid/buy football clubs without money if their own, scrounging off investors is surly not ideal for the long term future of any club.

So the person who did the deal with PMG and didn't provide money to pay the wages is now taking legal action. Oh this is just brilliant, better than emmerdale.

I'd wash my hands with it if they come in and sack the manager. I'd watch the team away but that's it.
