Just hope that whatever this week brings that his commitment to our club is acknowledged and that he is given assurances about his future...

What happens tomorrow if the playing staff don't get paid? Are they all free to leave or would the football league pay there wages. I know at Lancaster we have a much smaller budget but the fans pay a good size of the salarys, could your fans not do something similar. Honestly hope you get something sorted.

Yes that can walk for free which would be the biggest kick in the teeth for Jimbo.

I'd be prepared to guarantee a monthly sum for the remainder of the season.

Find another 16 people willing to throw in £1500-£2500 each per month and you may be on to something

Jim and Ken should be applauded on how they have got on with their jobs while everything has been hitting the fan. They have done brilliantly keeping the lads together this long under extreme circumstances.
Hopefully they are all here for Saturday and can remember how to perform on the pitch.

That's assuming we are in a position to put a team out by the end of the week

I mentioned it ages ago on here about contributing to wages but was shot down. We seem to go with the attitude of its too much to raise so we won't bother.

Not sure how significant this is but our chief academy scout Geoff McDougle has left for Burnley.

McDougle has also previously worked for Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.

He will be tasked with looking after the local recruitment of 12 to 16-year-olds at Turf Moor.

I don't know much about the youth setup but Neil Wainright has been very positive about the current crop (including Luke Jordan).

We desperately need to do this but I guess we have to wait for the trusts paperwork to be finalised
