3rd positive test on this year's tour. Ban em, fine em, whatever. Scare the rest into not taking drugs. We might not have quite so fit cyclists but at least we'd have an honest race.

Ricco, the latest banned rider is full of himself...or should i say was!

Rode last year to understand the race. :? :? :?

Rode this year to gain experience for next year.

What's the betting he wont ride next year as the new organisers clamp down on such riders?

He was an arrogant little sod, "I'm going to win this stage and that stage" etc, i'd be confident if i was cheating as well.

Should be banned for 5 years minimum in my opinion, im sure his team "mates" think the same!

Why 5 years? Ban them from sport for life, they won't do it again and the rest might just learn a lesson.

I wouldn't mind that, just think that 5 years would possibly be a big enough deterrent to stop it happening. Banning for life could be a bit harsh as i don't think it really fits the crime. Most seem to just get banned for 2 years at the moment which obviously isnt working well enough, even though there have been fewer positive tests than last year so far!As long as they are drug free after their ban is complete I don't see the problem.

I'm sure I heard the BBC say "the first English man since..." There'll be riots on the streets of Douglas after THAT slur!

As for me, I'd have to be here a lot longer than eighteen years to get the freedom of the Isle... Three generations, perhaps!

So how did that work out then?

Ah, but, Keith you know what the press are like!

If Murray had won wimbledon they would have called him English.

That would have upset him, seeing as he supports "ANY team that plays England" :!:

Wow! that was some finish! 22 riders all finishing on the same time   Good to see that it's not just football they don't check :?
