Attendances

This is virtually off topic with everything else that is going on, but we have finally managed to become clear bottom in the average attendance League with 1572... -21% on the previous season :(

Never seen this stat before, just 559 Season Ticket Holders, nearly 200 down from 3 years ago

http://www.efl.com/documents/efl-attend ... 547277.pdf

Average of 123 travelling fans, which actually puts us 22nd as a % of home fans, although it is quite a drop from the previous season

Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Interesting stuff but no surprise. Away travel, being where we are located, is certainly no surprise or the fact the club in recent history hasn't even attempted to help out. Again the design of the Omega stand and the club's general apathy towards it's hardcore fans since the move is also a big thing for the home attendance. No real attempt at advertising the club. Club shop is an underused resource. Could go on and on. Look towards PMG etc. for their total lack of imagination and intuition as to why this club is now crumbling. I've been to umpteen fans meetings over the years and nothing was ever done, even though most fans knew what was needed. (Past tense with our current predicament.)

The interest will be more with owning a member club of the Football League and the benefits / potential that allows for.

Is there any danger of someone doing a MK Dons/Wimbledon on us and moving the club 50 or 60 miles and calling it Salford Shrimps or something :o :o

Average attendance so far this season is 1,834 just above Accy on 1,792 though that is on the back of a few big away followings so it will probably drop back.

Accrington's losses appear to be around £300k per year, half of Morecambe's. Still bad, but makes you wonder why Morecambe lose so much more on similar attendances, especially with the function rooms that everyone thinks makes a fortune. Perhaps Cala is right in that the hospitality is costing the club money rather than making it.

also Accrington in the time we've been at the Globe don't have a problem with home form, and performing.

He does seem to know the finances and state of the club very well I can't tell if he has looked at this himself or one of his consortium and they just quote the figures to him.
