New Jimbo Interview: "It's Getting Beyond a Joke"

Total sympathy with Jimbo and Co and feel for the entire staff.

But i am surprised that with all this media coverage that a group of local businessmen and former / current directors haven't formed some kind of consortium and made their feelings known by publically stating that a counter bid to take control of the club will be made to G50....which could also involve the Trust in due course.

Surely whilst G50 are still in the process of seeking EFL approval (according to Cala) then a counter bid can be made to purchase the shares assuming that G50 are the current legal owners.

In my opinion we need a meeting of Nigel, Graham, Rod and other interested business people to meet with the Trust asap. We have to stop this ludicrous sale.

Only the EFL can do that. As I understand it (although it is all lies, smoke & mirrors) the deal is done, subject to EFL approval. The deal is a sale between Abdullah & Cala. Feck all we can do about it  (Other than write to the EFL?)

So how did that work out then?

Can't see Cala giving Jim much time to improve the things on the pitch. In fact if he does become owner and has the funding he says he has I can see us going through managers like a dose of salts.

If he has the money then we will be in the Premier league in no time! Shame it will be the Northern Premier League though

From his previous influence on clubs the Northern Premier League would be a good result!

Come on Neil let's get real here. See the Shrimps Trust statement but why would anyone in their right mind make an offer to G50 when no one involved knows who owns the company - Diego, Abdullah, Burnard or Cala or even PMG? You could end up giving someone a load of money only to find you gave it to the wrong person. Also if there was a consortium out there why would they go public when the only impact would be to force the price up and make themselves a target for various conmen.

At some point they'll lose interest or the club will go into administration, which means the company is out of the hands of these titanic twats, and someone else can step in.

Apparently the accidental interim owner has a good plan and cala is working with him on it. Who is that then Abdul?

Anybody hear Jim on Radio Lancashire this morning just before half eight??

How that man keeps going and trys to motivate his players I will never know.

Jim himself naturally sounds so down with it all and its a measure of the man that he keeps going.

Enormous respect to you Jim. We're right behind you.
