I believe Cala is nothing other than bad news, and to have someone sniffing around the club shows the kinds of people we are left with who are interested in buying the club and that there is no realistic prospect of a sale that has any sort of promise for the club.

I was more interested in you trying to deflect an argument that wasn't going your way by trying to shut down the comments that you didn't like being made, when you yourself didn't seem to be actively doing anything to stop the sale, and admitting there is nothing realistically that can be done.

I believe the only was we can get our feelings across is at a home match inside the stadium - either a mass walk out at some point during the match, or taking a leaf from Charlton's book and co-ordinating many things being thrown onto the pitch to cause a stoppage to the match.

And should Cala take over, the only realistic protest I can see is a withdrawal of support for the club until he goes.

With everyone thinking the worst of Cala (and if it is true) I'd say this would play right into his hands.

Only thing we can do right now is to back the team and staff and do what we can to support the ST and get a plan B package together.

I'm all for supporting the players, and people are entitled to have their opinions on what I suggested. Personally, I think the players and management would appreciate a display of solidarity by the fans making abundantly clear that they've also had enough rather than everyone pontificating on the internet, turning up and clapping politely.

Maybe it is a bad idea, but all I see on here is people saying "something should do something" without anybody actually doing ANYTHING.

I really doubt they'd appreciate that kind of support. Why not just stick to the traditional methods of singing and encouragement and leave the playground stuff to outside the ground?

The Trust have just issued a statement that we hope everyone will agree with and share. A plan is being worked on and we would welcome input from anyone with legal, financial and business experience who may wish to help.

Well we better get prepared soon, because I can see only one direction this is heading in at the moment and that is liquidation. Morecambe geek has a point that we sit back too much it may be too late. It shows whatever we do that we are passionate fans who care about our club.

Legacy looking pretty dodgy right now.

First half, pretty good. Progress on the pitch and achieving FL status

Second half, pretty dire. Spent Christie's legacy on a nice stand for him to sit in. Ran the club into the ground by alienating the fans and failing to run the club as a proper business. Sold out to some questionable characters and left us where we are at today

Actually the Director with responsibility for overseeing The Globe construction resigned a few years ago.

The Director with the day to day control of the club was /is on gardening leave.

We should try and get as many supporters into the next home game, get a fans united day like some other clubs hve done. Invite Blackpool and Blackburn fans down. Fill the stadium and show whoever the owner is that we love our football club and want this mess sorted out! The last thing the players need is a boycott! Also how many lifetime season ticket holders do we have? Would they be willing to pay for entry to help with a bit of cashflow? I know it's only a small gesture but i'd be happy to do that for the rest of this season

Imo the time has come for the people of Morecambe to decide whether or not they want a football club to support. Past supporters, glory hunters and anyone else out there should make the effort to get down to the Globe next Sat.
