Bollox. They are not interested in the football. About time they stopped being such prats and paid THEIR employees. If they read this board they surely don't give a shit about your opinions. Pay the employees and maybe things will change so that the 'lost' fans have a team to take an interest in!

By the sounds of it PMG got paid but not Burnard. The whole saga is not only a shambles to unravel but know one knows the proper bloody truth. So how can he not have any money if he is a accountant.

I've supported the team for 50 years. What's your problem? The furkin owners are the problem, not me! Now get a sodden grip

As I read the situation PMG only received a deposit but handed over his share certificates. Wonder if he has been advised by his lawyers that trying to get them back would be expensive and protracted? Hence he has given up bothering. I could be wrong of course.

Well Burnard needs to pay up then if true. Surely their is other methods such as a High Court writs.

There's nothing on his website to suggest he's a qualified/regulated accountant. Literally anyone can call themselves an accountant or set up an accountancy practice - it's not a protected profession unlike solicitors, vets, architects, etc.

With the ongoing ownership disputes entering into the civil court system, I was just kind of wondering the following.

Would the PFA/employee representatives be able to submit any kind of "impact statement" to the court to relate the consequences of the dispute.?

Whilst it would not make any difference to the evaluation of the ownership dispute per se , perhaps it could prompt the court officials to either Fast track the case, or. Make an interim provision that takes the impacts on the innocent parties into account.

I think for instance in winding up proceedings ( which I appreciate this isn't) the court must prioritize the interests of employees in its deliberations , could it also apply here ? I dunno does anyone?

CC is of course right , our new owner is obviously a devious sneaky, dishonest, wretched character , but we are best off pretending we like him, its worked a treat with PMG, ''Diego'' and Cala, so mums the word folks, shhhh!! :)

Was there a court date this week for one of the parties to provide evidence before the final court date next week? And does anyone know what the date was I seem to think the sixth or seventh.

I believe Rod on the Bay said one party had their hearing on the 6th and the other had theirs on the 13th. I would imagine we won't hear anything until the 13th regarding this case.

The court order says about presentation of evidence rather than a court date.

If someone finds me a court date.........

I don't understand Mr Burnard's mentality when he claims he is the owner of the club but doesn't pay the staff. That's not ownership. The sooner he and the leeches hovering around our club depart, the better. We want committed, involved, interested ownership, not people who see our club as an opportunity to make a quick buck.

He can't pay the staff because he's not been approved by the EFL.

As soon as he gets that approval then by all means give him hell for not paying them.

What happens then if Mr. Burnard doesn't pass the "fit and proper person" test to become owner? Do the players then continue to be unpaid?
