The PFA

Postby fulwoodshrimp » Thu Feb 09, 2017 7:39 am

I recently emailed the MP and the PFA about the nonsense going on at our club. The MP said he wasn't able to intervene due to legal and contractual matters! Gordon Taylor replied promising the PFA "will do all it can to ensure the survival of Morecambe FC". Gordon also wished us success in the formation of a Supporters Trust.

what a good lad GT is!

On the other hand , Morris will probably appear when everything is over and done with, claiming to have ''sorted it out!''

Supporters Direct have lobbied all the MP's of their trusts to attend the Football Governance debate in the House of Commons today.

We will see who will attend.

If we as a community want to support the staff at the Shrimps, the best thing to do is to show up at the Globe Arena and go and support the club on match days whenever we can. That will show the staff that the whole community is behind them.

Is he coming on Saturday then?

Fuck the MP, he should still be getting himself involved whether he can legally intervene or not.

Just as a matter of interest....has he ever been to a match? Or is the 'whenever we can' a let out? Whatever the case he ought to appear at some matches now to show solidarity with the club (a local amenity) and the fans ( his constituents) ;)

I remember him being at a Gala Draw. The host gave him the job of drawing the prizes out so it was all done above board... there was quite a murmur from the audience
