It sounds like a cracking game, why would you miss 20% of it???

Excellent! Great save by their keeper but it fell nicely for Kev! Get in!

According to Freez, a group of Italians have come especially to see Kev, so he celebrated with them!

Kev gets to celebrate a second time with his new Italian friends.

Bet they're more welcome than a certain other Italian?

In the past when we have had a decent crowd for whatever reason we have often given at best an average performance. Hopefully those that have come along because of the pie and a pint have seen enough today to continue supporting the club. Sounds like a fantastic performance!!!

Three clean sheets in six games in 2017. Sounding much tighter at the back and playing well.

"Superb"!

Excellent from everyone. Cambridge couldn't have complained if it was 6 nil... brilliant game and brilliant atmosphere and crowd. Once again wildigg was class, brilliant movement and touches

That is the Morecambe I remember! The crowd behind the goal making all the noise, plenty of attacking football on the pitch and Jimbo banging his chest at the end!

Sometimes it takes something really shit to make you realise what you have! We all seem to be together again as one and that is what makes this club special!

Wonderful result and sounds as if it was a great performance all round in front of a big (for us) crowd.

The wheels are really rolling. Might yet make someone look at taking on the club for footballing reasons :D

Thanks Jim, Ken and all the team. Thanks also to everyone else, still going through tough times but the 'back room' staff make it possible for the team to do the business in such a brilliant way.

Keep the faith. COYS :D

Very proud to be a Morecambe fan. Enjoyable day yet again.

I hope the board realises in future that honest communication with fans is the true way forward. Since then the way everyone has pulled together positively is incredible.

Great attacking game and looked solid at the back. Kev and Mullins always looked like scoring. As said in earlier threads feels like the Morecambe of old with both the football and crowd. Pie not bad either !!!

Great game, great atmosphere, great team spirit, great result.

Cambridge were one of the worst teams I've seen this season and posed little threat but it's another clean sheet and a very valuable 3 points on the board.

Kev, fair play to him, was fantastic. Mullers really caused problems for their defence all game and our defence were outstanding.

With the team in 15th place and games in hand, things are looking good. Who'd have thought we were worried about certain relegation a few months ago?

Hopefully now relegation worries are a thing of the past.
8 points off the playoffs with a game in hand.
Why not be optimistic. We are on a roll.
Footballs a funny old game.
