The cursed ground could be the training pitches that PMG Leisure ''aquired'', easy come, easy go eh.

JB told me that he was a keen poker player and that he actually won the land he bequeathed to us off some bloke called Birkett.

Well known farming family whose farm is on Oxcliffe Road just before the railway bridge. Think I'm right that two brothers now run the farm and one of them is the local if not the national chairperson of the Farmers Union.
