Wow! Long detour for the buses unless they drop a load of cones across Skerton Bridge past Our Lady's and make it two-way.

I've been thinking about that in Carnforth, there are holes everywhere. Anyway hey presto this morning they are cutting out large sections, not just potholes, from Crag Bank Roundabout to the crossroads :D

Will be chaos for the day though.

So they have plans for Greyhound Bridge but will they get the money?

Sounds like MFC

Transport secretary visits the new road but makes no comment about the roundabout saga where lighting was removed from the budget to reduce costs resulting in part of the road being closed.

Wonder when it's finally going to be sorted? At the moment I'm waiting to see how long it is before a transport lorry ploughs into the roundabout due to being unable to access the inner road way which reduces the amount of road curvature that lorries have to undergo at the moment just to negotiate the roundabout.... :?: :?: :?:

I'm waiting to read about the first accident to be caused by someone sticking to the speed limit.

I am simply waiting for the day when I can drive the length of the Bay Gateway on to the M6 and not see any cones.
Wonder when that will be????

Greyhound Bridge closing for 6 months will be a nightmare!

Although the one way system being 2 way will be good and hopefully permanent by 2031!
