On that basis we better get rid of pretty much all the players then as not many of them (if any) are League One standard.

Danny seems to get a hard time from some people for pretty much no reason at all other than he doesn't look like a footballer. I thought people had seen sense in the past few months but clearly not.

And I agree, left back is a position of concern but Danny hasn't played there for a good few months now and I wouldn't like to see him moved back to that position or play centre back in a 442 formation.

As you will see from a post I made in another thread I wouldn't have him in the team if we play 442 but in a 532 system I think he is fantastic.

I get what you're saying and agree to some extent BUT if we take it that our present first choice back 3 would be McStay - Bentley - Adams then Adams would be the first one to make way in the summer for me. I would, however, keep him over Artell as he offers more flexibility and could play the odd match at left-back if needs must.

What position did Danny play against Chester? I thought he played a bit left back a bit left wing back and a bit left winger (indeed he hurtled off like a rampaging bull on a couple of occasions down toward the corner flag!!) Amazingly his famous 'prod in the back' allowed him to win headers against their giant forward almost every time. Perpetual motion!

Thought Danny had a great game at left back and had Ellison in his pocket indeed all the forward could do was spend most of his time moaning to the ref. Keep up the good work Danny fully deserved mom award yesterday
