Nooooo..... they were Morecambe fans, surely....
Well, according to our "local" illustrious "news"paper they were Morecambe fans anyway.

Whilst I sympathise with BFC fans plight it's a free country ain't it and I will choose what I want to do at the time. It's mDoy money after all to spend and enjoy myself, why should I feel intimidated in doing so?

Nobody is asking you to apologise. Yes it is, as you feel the need to point out, a free country. There isn't any reason for you to feel intimidated. To me it seemed like a fairly polite request from their supporters.
I guess it all comes down to where your priorities and principals are really. Personally I don't like what is happening to their club so I'll support the stance. You, on the other hand, may feel that it's more important to eat a pie..That's fine too. As you say, it's a free country and your decision is respected.

I really wouldn't bother with the pie, see my previous post in this thread.

If you do choose to attend the game at Bloomfield Road, we would ask that you support our actions by doing the following:
a) Not purchasing any match programmes or lottery tickets when at the ground.
b) Not purchasing any food or drinks from the kiosks on the concourse inside the ground.
c) Join us in the spirit of fans united and show solidarity with any pre-match demonstrations arranged by Blackpool fans (if such are organised for the game you are attending).
We greatly appreciate your support. Please let us know if you or your fellow fans have any questions or suggestions on the contents of this letter.

Wild Bill wrote:Interesting and high stakes game being played between BFC and its fans. Whilst the Oysons don't sound like the best owners to have, our recent experience puts a lot of what's going on there into perspective. Boycotting until the club runs itself into the ground is a risky move for me as there might not be much worth rescuing once it eventually hits the buffers.

They've asked for a bit of support in their campaign and happy to give them some backing and show solidarity. Like many I'll go to the game to support the team but I won't buy a thing in the ground.

...you world must be pretty scary!
It's just a polite notice explaining what they are doing and why. Some people will join in with the spirit of the protest, some won't. They're hardly threatening to torch your car if you buy a pastie!

Cala? just kidding. I wonder how much they want and what conditions they will sell it for?BerlinWaller wrote:Blackpool FC and Bloomfield RD both put up for sale by the Oyston's. What a result for those fans who have battled for so long, hope they get an owner they deserve.
