Pitch conditions

Pitch conditions

Postby Christies Child » Sat Feb 25, 2017 10:33 am

Somehow feel that today's game could be a lottery what with the rain and the strong wind both prevalent now and at game time. That's assuming of course that the game goes ahead. If it does then I think that the gate will be affected.

I of course feel that PMG is totally at fault for the state of our pitch ''YOU BUY CHEAP, YOU BUY TWICE!''

The pitch could still be playable at 1 but the forecast from 2 o'clock onwards is for the rain to get heavier but you cant really call a game off based on a forecast, its a bit of a no win situation really.

Also on official website if there are still any doubters. ;)

No rain at the moment so likely to pass inspection. Whether it lasts the 90 mins is anyone's guess...

If you look at the rain radar on http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ the worst of the wet weather looks to have passed.

Not according to the BBC site. It is lashing it down here in Manchester right now. Would not be surprised the match is in jeopardy if it carries on like this.

It hasn't done anything more than drizzle for a few hours now. Lets stop causing drama and focus on a match that is going ahead - get people down to the Globe.
