Looking back, if Alex hadn't got sent off in the Cheltenham game, Jim wouldn't have had to appeal a touchline ban, we wouldn't have been asked to help pay his £1000 fine, Jim wouldn't have been brought to tears and Sky Bet wouldn't have offered a free pie and a pint at the Cambridge match. Imo this incident together with all the well publicised off field shenanigans has certainly galvanised the club into one. Of course this may have happened without Alex being sent off but I'd like to thank him anyway

Yes agreed , the £1,000 collection was an important moment in bringing the clubs fans together and improving the atmosphere at games.
I was just observing that the team had played well for 15 games.
