Shrimps Trust Official Launch

Shrimps Trust Official Launch

Postby Shrimps Trust » Sat Mar 04, 2017 9:58 am

Great news!

After much work behind the scenes, we are now in a place where we can officially launch the Shrimps Trust.

We would like to share with you the vision and purpose and bring you up to speed with where we are up to and what is next.

We want everyone to be involved in the Shrimps Trust and would like to invite you to an official launch party on Saturday the 25th of March at 7pm (this is after the Mansfield Town match). Please spread the word with all Shrimps fans through word of mouth, social media etc. This is our chance to show our club how much it means to us. We are Stronger Together!

Once we have shared everything with you, then we party! Disco & karaoke until midnight. All the family welcome and free admission of course!

Be there as history is made.

Excellent! Thanks for all the hard work you've put in to get this up and running. It's now up to the other fans to contribute and help in whatever way they can to ensure its success. :D

Damn - I can't go, as I have tickets for a gig in Manchester that night.

Will someone from the Trust (Outsider?) post some info on here afterwards to let us know what is happening with the Trust?

Thanks!

Superb news and a welcome development in the history of our great club.

Not sure I can make the launch but will be there in spirit and supporting the Trust in whatever way I can although my financial commitment will be small .....something is better than nothing.

Here's wishing the Trust success long into the future.

Fantastic work! Hope we get lots of people down for the occasion. Unfortunately, I'm down in London but there in spirit.

Echoing the thanks and congratulations to everyone who's worked hard to get this going.

And.. sorry to put a downer on it. But I WILL be able to be there with family in tow... and there's karaoke!

Lets make this a history making night. If you don't sing at the game you have no excuse on the night. Or me and Glen will have to sing ALL night.

Hope that this is the start of a new era but the ownership saga needs sorting as a priority. Just hope that whoever takes control will be prepared to involve the Trust in some capacity........ :?: :?: :?:

I *think* [and these are the sort of things that will be sorted tonight] that a properly formed trust has to be engaged by any club board as part of the Football League membership rules.

The formal process for an elected Trust board started tonight. It ends in 8 weeks which, by a genuine coincidence, is the 10th Wembley anniversary and another special night.

Full information available at shrimpstrust.co.uk.

Hope the evening ends as well as it started :D
