"Newport County will give manager Graham Westley two games to save his job following a board meeting."

"It was decided at Monday's meeting that Westley will be in charge for the away matches at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, 12 March and Morecambe away on Tuesday, 14 March."

We've got a week to rehearse the lyrics to "You're getting sacked in the morning"...

We have caused a long list of managers to lose their jobs over the years. I wouldn't normally make a point of getting a person sacked from their job, but football managers are in a different breed of job, so

This could be a real scalp

Shouldn't take delight in seeing someone lose their job, but after what he did to Farnborough, I would LOVE to see us be the ones who get him sacked!

So how did that work out then?

Just hope that his players don't respond in a positive manner to any celebratory chants of 'you're getting sacked in the morning'......could work against us..... :?: :?: :?:

Just another example of clubs demanding instant success.

It worries me that as and when we get a new owner that his or her loyalty to Jimbo will go out of the window and that they will demand instant success on the field which as we all know based purely on budgets will not be easily achieved.

Whatever irritations some have with the current owner, no one can accuse him of being anything other than loyal to our great manager.
